What is useful when a route exists
- A correction: the page, the sentence or number, the source you checked, and what it should say instead.
- A reproducibility question: the command you ran, the file you used, and the output or error you saw.
- A collaboration note: the question, why it overlaps this work, and what you have already tried. Do not send unpublished data in a first message.
What not to send
- Requests to review a manuscript, write a paper, or join a project for no stated scope.
- Requests for a grade, a credential, or an institutional affiliation.
- Personal data that is not needed to answer the question.
