# Mirrored repository records

This directory holds byte-identical copies of the repository files cited by the
site. They are written by `scripts/sync-records.mjs` from the repository root
and checked by `scripts/sync-records.mjs --check`.

The source repository is private at this revision. These mirrored records are
the readable copies that the site can link to without a login. A copy is
evidence only for the revision it was taken from; the repository history, not
this directory, is authoritative.

Only public research records are mirrored. Funding, application, business, and
internal review documents are not part of this directory.

The large FITS products (`lightcurve.fits`, `tpf.fits`) are not mirrored
because of their size. Their archive URLs, byte counts, and SHA-256 digests are
in `research/tess-timing/data/real-run/acquisition.json` and
`research/tess-timing/data/real-run-2/acquisition.json`.
